I have been a customer of Don's for over 15 years off and on (depending on the foreign car we have in our life at the time). Without any comparison, the customer service employees (particularly Jason) are exceptional! It is rare to find such professionalism, kindness and this level of customer service anywhere!! I completely trusted and continue to trust them with all our foreign cars and any other car we have!! It is an absolute delight to do business with them and that is with car issues (which I hate). My car was towed to Don’s Service Center after breaking down on I-70 during our trip back home to Pennsylvania. Though very busy the team fixed my car and had us back on the road by late afternoon. I greatly appreciate Jason keeping me informed of the status of my car and following up after we were back home. I feel extremely fortunate that my car was towed to Don’s. On Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024 my daughter and 2 grandchildren were headed home to Pennsylvania from the Kansas City area. Her car broke down on 70 Hwy and was towed to Dons Auto Service in Terre Haute. Although Dons Auto service was extremely busy, they placed her car as a priority and had her back on the road by 3 PM on Monday. As a father it is great to know that there are people like Jason at Dons Auto who took care of a perfect stranger. Just think about what they will do for local customers. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Dons Auto for taking care of my daughter and grandchildren. She got back to PA with no further problems.

I wrecked my car earlier in the fall, and I took it in for a general inspection of the "insides" before making a trip to Ohio. They couldn't get the hood to latch and tied it up with wires to keep it shut for the time being. They strongly suggested that I should not drive it to Ohio without the hood latching. They suggested the names of two body shops, and one of the shops said they could look at it even though it was late in the day. I went there, and they quickly took it to the garage and fixed it in a couple of minutes. They saved my trip! If Don's can't do a job (such as body work), they are able to refer you to someone who can. Don's is well-respected and other shops in our area value their referrals and expertise.
