Have been using Don's Service Center for maintenance / repair to my vehicles for the last three years. My previous mechanic closed his business and retired. I did try another place that he recommended but was not satisfied with them. I started coming to Don's because of an incident from back in the mid-'90's. I was driving a 1982 Pontiac Bonneville as my work car and it needed a replacement engine. My mechanic at that time did not do engine replacements. Just by chance I talked to the folks at Don's. The person at Don's gave me a quote for a replacement engine, but also suggested that the amount to replace the engine would go a long way toward another vehicle. It impressed me that they would offer an alternative suggestion rather than just offer the engine replacement as the only option. With that said, I have been well pleased with Don's and their staff. Regular service calls are completed in a timely manner at a reasonable price. If they find a problem during regular maintenance appointments I am informed of the problem and offered options (always at least two) as to how resolve the problem. If it is something I have noticed between regular service calls Don's troubleshoots the problem and, again, offers options (again, always at least two) as to how to resolve the problem. I plan on continuing to use Don's Service Center for maintenance and repair work for my vehicles. I travel 30 miles to have my vehicles serviced at Don's. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. A five star experience every time.
