I have twins at ISU. I also have two cars there. Don’s was recommended by a friend who grew up in Terre Haute when one of my kids’ car was having an exhaust issue. They took care of another issue with her car at another time. Recently, my son’s car’s radiator rusted out beyond repair. I called Don’s again. They give a 10% discount to ISU students. They will arrange the tow, if necessary, and include it in the final bill. Each time they had every opportunity to take advantage of me and they did not. They kept me in the loop on everything they did. Even though they said it would be one week before they could get it in, if they have a small opening between jobs, they have looked at it at least long enough to order the initial parts so they will have them when the car gets pulled in. Sometimes, they even install the part of they have a lull. This happened this time. We had the car back in three days! They are reasonably priced, but I would pay a little more to have the peace of mind that things are getting handled professionally and that I do not have to drive to Terre Haute to look over anyone’s shoulder.
